General description and application of VMC machining center VMC1160L
The X, Y, Z axis of VMC machining center VMC1160L is coordinate-controlled. The main spindle is driven by servo motor. 20/24 station automatic tool changer is optional. It can realize the multiple functions of drilling, milling, boring, reaming, tapping and etc at a time on various complicated parts such as discs, plates, shells, cams, moulds and others after clamping the workpiece. It can show full display of its advantages in the mass production of high-precision components.

Main features of VMC Machining Center VMC1160L

1. Pedestal, slide carriage, worktable, column, spindle box and other basic components are made of high-rigidity cast irons (HT300&HT250) and have a network of reinforcement ribs inside to make sure they have high rigidity and high bending&deforming resistance. All the basic parts are molded by resin sand and processed by aging treatment to guarantee the machine has a long-term machining precision and stable performance.

2. The guide rails for X, Y, Z, axis adopt linear rolling guide rail.

3. Adopting high-precision, high-rigidity ball screws with large pitch for X, Y, Z axis, vertical machining center VMC1160L has a high feeding speed. Servo motors are directly connected with ball screws by flexible coupling and the power is directly transmitted to ball screw to make sure it has a high positioning accuracy.

4. Screw support is pre-streched; the influence of thermal deformation on the machine`s machining precision is greatly reduced. All the guide rails and ball screws for X, Y, Z axis are fully enclosed to maintain their cleanness, so the transmission and moving accuracy is guaranteed.

5. AdoptingTaiwan famous brand spindle, which has the features of high speed, high precision, high rigidity and big loading capacity. The maximum speed of main spindle is 8000rmp.

6. Adopting high quality ATC(20 or 24 stations) imported from Taiwan,which has the features of high tool-changing accuracy, short tool-changing time and high efficiency.

7. The CNC control system has various functions such as LCD display, circulatory function, cutter compensation, program storaging&editing, metric/inch conversion and etc.

8. Electrical system adopts the design of separation between voltage transformer and control system to reduce the amount of heat and the temperature change, so the service life of electrical components and the reliability of control system are greatly improved.

9. Adopting advanced centralized automatic lubricating system, the lathe has a stable and reliable working performance.
